What does an artist do when life interferes?

Grit your teeth and march on, I guess. With a husband who is recovering from shoulder surgery and a very sick cat, there is precious little time to paint. 
​I have managed to produce two 12x12's for the Taste of Tidewater Show in Falmouth this summer. Also two 12x12's for the art gallery in Rockland.
​However, I feel so distracted that seeing a blank canvas on my easel is leaving me cold and without inspiration.
​I'm sure this will pass; it always does. In the meantime, I'm concentrating on my nursing skills. Ha! 

​I'm getting great joy from seeing the wonderful progress of some of my artist friends. You know who you are--keep it going!
